A nationally ranked Grand Rapids Thunder team rolled into CCH and escaped with a narrow victory. The Stallion offense showed signs of rust and could not get on track for most of the game. The entire depth chart for the Stallions saw action, and kept the game close. New WR Rocky Bounds caught a pass from QB Brandon Jewett and brought the team within striking distance. The defense was a little sharper, holding a high powered offense in check for most of the game. The game ended with the score of 6-9 Thunder.
