The Stallion offense is starting to get its swagger back. All league WR Magic Jones put on a clinic Saturday night. He scored two TD and amassed 150 plus receiving yards. Magic has also added a new wrinkle to his game; he has become a ferocious blocker. For the second straight week he has left the opponents LB seeing stars from his crushing blocks.
Keeping up with the Jones’s, DE Jonathan Jones set the tone for the defense with his relentless pass rush and disruptive run defense. He started the team off by dropping the Grizzlies RB for a 4yd loss. He leads the team in sacks, and is always a force in hurrying opposing QBS. On the other side of Jones, is newcomer DE Stephen Holt. Holt and Jones play so well together that one of the two is always in the mix.
Diaab Muhammad found his way into the end zone for the second straight week. Diaab is really picking up where he left off at the end of last season. A very athletic WR, and a big target; he is a nightmare for opposing DB’s.
