Deadline Passed "We're good." A simple yet profound statement by Coach Irving. No big-name additions. No ground-breaking mergers. Nope, just a few additions (none from other teams), and back to business as usual. "We need to execute, plain and simple.", states Irving, Shuffling the roster or trying to stack the deck is not the Stallions M.O., it never has been.
RUN TMC The Stallion ground game has gotten a huge boost with the arrival of newcomer Terron McKinley(T). The hard-running of factor back Xavier Meade (M) and the all-around versitlity of veteran Chris Bush (C) give the Stallions RUN TMC
The New Sock Rule The GMFL's new rule that all players must wear knee length socks is old news to the Stallions. Head Coach John Irving is a stickler for total uniformity. The Stallions have always worn matching socks. The team even wears matching team shoe/spat color (black).
The philosophy is simple: In 2011 we will focus on what we have and work hard to improve in areas of need. Focus will be a priority this year.

The New Site In the near future the website for the Stallions will undergo a "face-lift". The new look will be cleaner, more crisp. The site will reflect the new directions of the Stallions organization. Please check in often for updates and info on your team.

STALLION HEADLINES
The Wildkatz put the Stallion defense to the test. The pass-heavy Katz keep the Dbs busy all night. The Stallions, however, passed the test. Led by veteran DB #13 Fred Berry (2 INTs, 1TD). The Stallions tamed those wild Katz.
Week 5, Chi-City The Stallions will be at home after the break to face the undefeated Chi-City Blitz. The game will mark the first time the two teams have met. Former players are on bothe teams. The game will pit two of the GMFL's top defenses againt one another. The 7pm kick-off will surely be the hottest ticket in the league on the 9th.
The Stallions want players that want to be pieces to the winning puzzle, and are willing to work hard to make the team a success. No mercenaries welcomed here.
The Stallions are open to new ball players, but want to remain loyal to the guys that got us this far.
